RELAXING
The Fool's Gold Cabin sleeps six comfortably. There is an upstairs bedroom with a California King bed and a downstairs bedroom with two bunk beds (so, four twin beds). There are also some cots and sleeping mats available for added flexibility. Other features include:
Interior fireplace as well as an outdoor fire pit (fire wood provided)
Stereo (iPod with 60GB of music pumping to both indoor and outddoor speakers)
Hi-end, large capacity washer and dryer (with hypoallergenic settings too!)
Bedding provided (high quality sheets and extra pillows)
Leather couch and lounge chairs (for chilling with a good book)
With a beautiful view over blue canyons to the mountains beyond, the Fool's Gold Cabin is situated on ten private acres with a wonderful mix of deciduos and evergreen trees. There is plenty of open space for kids to run and play while you enjoy the views from a spacious deck. There are also several trails through the wooded areas.
With a large common space inside, two bedrooms and one bathroom, the 1,100 square foot cabin is ideal for a family - or 2-3 couples - to get away and relax! The cabin has contemporary furnishings and every room has charming wood floors that were made of reclaimed bleachers from the San Francisco State University basketball arena (compliments of the Wooden Duck in Berkeley).
PLAYING
The Fool's Gold Cabin offers plenty of outdoor activity. In addition to the multitude of activities and events that are available in the area, the following features are available in our ten acre back yard:

The Fool's Gold Cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of seating at the bar, on the deck, or at the hand-crafted dining table - which features a topographical map of the wilderness area surrounding the cabin.

Home-made S'more Sticks (what's the point of nature if you don't have s'mores?)

Utensils galore (all the basics plus things like a pizza stone, etc)
Teak outdoor dining (with collapsable camping chairs available in the winter)
